Meet our Founder

Dr. Megan McGee-Heim is the owner and founder of EdConnect Consulting, LLC. Dr. McGee-Heim has worked in the educational setting for over twenty years as a Special Education teacher, Supervisor of Special Education and Director of Special Education and Student Services. During her time in the public school setting she found great value in the collaborative and consultative approach as she worked to support students to meet their best possible potential.

Megan has been a graduate professor for the last thirteen years teaching coursework that awards teachers certification in Special Education, PDE Autism Endorsement, and Special Education Supervisory Certification. This experience rounds out her exceptional skill set as she marries the pedagogical methods to real world experiences. Dr. McGee-Heim values the role she plays in supporting and molding the next group of exceptional teachers.

Finally, Dr. McGee-Heim has provided many professional learning series for administrators, teachers, staff and parents. Some topics include MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports), UDL (Universal Design for Learning), Co-Teaching, Inclusive Practices, PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Systems), Autism Spectrum Disorder, and many more! Whatever the topic Megan seeks to meet your individual needs. Megan’s presenting consultants are rounded out by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals ready to support you in all areas of the educational system.
