About Ed Connect
EdConnect, LLC is a collective collaboration of educational professionals who specialize in all aspects of students' academic, behavioral and social emotional journey. Within EdConnect you will find expertise in areas of educational programming, behavioral support and management, trauma informed and clinical practices and collaboration across post secondary support systems. At the heart of our work is our passion for students with diverse and exceptional learning needs and the role we can play in supporting school based teams, and districts in professional learning experiences to enhance student’s educational experiences.
Our Brand
Education is foundational in the roots that our parents and guardians plant for us from birth. As educators our role is cultivate those roots to support growth both academically, behaviorally and social emotionally.
Ed Connect chose this logo as it represents the different steps in the educational journey. First, we have the roots of the tree which are planted by our parents and guardians and fed by our school team. Next, is the trunk of the tree which represents the stability, strength, and resiliency of our students. Third, are the branches of the tree which are so resilient that they grow around obstacles, the same obstacles that students encounter on a daily basis. Finally, the crown or the canopy of the tree was developed to resemble that of a brain so as to represent the neurodiversity that is represented in our classrooms and the role we play in not only understanding the neuroscience of our learners but also celebrating the learner variability in our classrooms.
Thus Ed Connect was born!
